Amy Thropp is currently the interim Music Director of the Cobb Summer Singers, and is also the Music Director and Founder of Zimria Festivale Atlanta, a Jewish-based choral group under the umbrella of the William Baker Choral Foundation.
Amy has been involved with Jewish music in Atlanta for 35 years, recently retiring as choir director at Congregation Beth Shalom in Dunwoody for the majority of that time.
Amy Thropp is a talented musicican herself, participating as a chorus member in the Cobb Summer Singers, the Summer Singers of Atlanta, and the New South Festival Singers. She also serves as a board member on the Choral Foundation, bringing a wealth of knowledge in corporate organizational skills to the team.
